I Feel Very Fortunate to have Run into Warren this Last Year at Lunch. We had been Friend´s from the North End for many Yr´s. When He Left the Fire Dept and Joined F&E as a Salesmen, Our Path´s Crossed Many Time´s as I was A Sales Rep for a Liquor Wholesaler in Wichita, and Called on many of the Same Establishment´s. Then Lost Touch over the Yr´s till Last Yr. Then we would See Each Other at the Same Restaurant on Thursday´s. And Talk a Little About His Cancer and My Wife´s. We Shared A True Friendship. THOUGHT´S and PRAYER´S to His Wife and Family. He was TRULY, One of the GOOD GUY´S. I will miss Seeing and Talking to Him About The OLD DAY´S. YOUR NORTH-END FRIEND. Marty Hammer.

I got the news this week that my old co-worker Warren passed away. He was always a very sweet and funny guy. It makes my heart hurt that he had to suffer and was taken from this Earth. I hope his soul is at peace And his suffering has ended. I haven't spoke to him for many years, but when I speak of him it's always with fondness.

Warren was an exceptional athlete along with his brother Walt. He had served many years with the Wichita Fire Department and it was sad when he left. Owned one of the coolest GTO's around. It was a pleasure when he showed up at my retirement party.
