YORKVILLE - Gerald "Jerry" W. Berg Jr., 63, of Yorkville, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025 at his home.
Born in Libertyville, Ill. on July 28, 1961, he was the son of Gerald and Mary Ann (nee Falk) Berg Sr. His early life was spent in Illinois before moving to Kenosha in 1972. He graduated from Westosha Central High School.
Jerry owned and operated Jerry Berg Landscaping and was a former member of the Racine County Fair Board. He loved his work and spent a lot of time with his family and friends. He enjoyed helping others and was always someone people could count on. He also enjoyed dancing and music since the age of two when his grandpa would play the accordion.
Jerry is survived by his parents; children, Adam Berg and Ashley (Vijay) Panda; and his dog, Luffy. He was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Berg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kenosha Humane Society (formerly Safe Harbor). This is where Jerry got Luffy, and he would be happy knowing that donations would help the place where he got his best friend.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Dear Cousins, I will remember Jerry as a lively boy on the dock in Skanee, smiling broadly as he plotted to push us teenaged third cousins into the water, with curlers in our long hair! I cannot recall him otherwise, but his spirit will always cheer me.

Jerry Will be missed by many people and employees who stopped in early in the morning at the Kwik-Trip at Hwy 142 & 94 in Wisconsin a good MAN who left us to early will be sadly missed!!
