Jerry will be missed

I believe my grandfather bought a home in 1906 from a member of the Pease family. It became the birthplace of my Dad, Park G. Vestal and his siblings. To all of you at Pease Furniture Store, including my friend David Vaughan, please accept my sympathy in the death of Jerry. Mickey, I think you and I had babies at Baptist Hospital the same day, Nov. 18, 1960. My oldest son Mark was born that day. I know what you're going through, because I lost my husband over three years ago. But, he's still with me all the time, and I hope you'll feel that way about Jerry. I'm sure you have lots of good memories.

Condolences to all the Peases. You guys are an extended part of my family and I have so many great memories of Jerry and all the time our families spent together on vacations, summer swimming, Superbowls, Christmas parties, soccer and football games and just too many times to list here. The Pease family was like a second family to many of us. Our kids grew up together, we supported and celebrated many sports and fun times together. Those are good memories to cherish for each of you. Know you are in our prayers for comfort.
