FREMONT - Pauline Mae Meadows, 95, of Fremont, Indiana, passed peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025.
Pauline Mae Bennett was born on Jan. 7, 1930, in Bloomington, Indiana. She was one of five children, and a daughter to the late Winnie "Ruby" Ritter and Everett Bennett.
She graduated from high school at the top of her class.
She married Rex Meadows on Dec. 26, 1949, and became a homemaker, loving mother and a wonderful cook while raising her five children.
She greatly enjoyed the strategy involved in playing bridge. Bingo was an opportunity to meet with her friends, as was participating in bowling leagues. After entering many sweepstakes, she actually won a one week trip for two to London with all expenses paid. Summers at the lake fishing, were so enjoyable that she and Rex purchased and built a beautiful lake house.
Pauline is survived by her five children, Theresa Meadows, of Grabill, Pam (Terry) Clark, of Fremont, Sandy (Chris) Reith, of Oro Valley, Arizona, Tom (Barbara) Meadows, of South Whitley and Paula (Peter Rowley) Hallett, of Brownsburg; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Per Pauline's wishes, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
