Delores Darlene (Strange) West 1950 – 2024 Weatherby, MO.Delores Darlene (Strange) West, age 74, was born July 4, 1950 in Washington DC, the daughter of Gordon Horace and Mamie Olivia (Fleming) Bruce passed away November 4, 2024. Delores was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas and would later be raised by her brother Gordon S. Bruce and his wife Betty Bruce. She was the proud owner of The Casino Bar for many years before she decided to move to Winston Mo. where she would soon meet the love of her life. Delores and Norman Wesley West were united in marriage on February 9, 2010. Her main love and hobbies in life were watching scary movies, tending to her flowers, fishing, riding across the country in the Semi Truck with Norman, and spending time with her family and pets. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Norman Bruce, Forrest Bruce, and Gordon S. Bruce. Survivors include her husband, Norman West, of the home; children, Tina (Randy) Turner, Tonya (Mark) Laue, Gordon Henry Ricardo (Desiree) Clair, Randy (Carrie) West, Teresa Waterbury, Rob (Kirstee) Boyd, Shane (Ashley) West, Joseph (Heather) West; three sisters, Yvonne Harris, Sue (Ed) Carlton, and Stacy (Bubba) Kline; one brother, Gordon T. (Tamara) Bruce; twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Memorial Services will be at Lake Viking Church with inurnment at Cope Cemetery, Weatherby, Missouri, at a later date. Memorial Contributions: Love Offerings to the Family.
