Jennie Satteson Obituary

Jennie M. (Dressler) Satteson, of Milton, passed away Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at Milton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Feb. 6, 1936, on the Isle of Que, a daughter of the late Irvin Bay and Charity (Walborn) Dressler. On May 1, 1953, she married Robert C. Satteson and they shared 58 years together until his passing in 2011.
Jennie attended Paradise Church UCC, Milton for many years.
She worked at the Milton Shoe Factory from the early 1960s until it closed.
Jennie enjoyed crafts and mowing her lawn, which grew larger year by year.
She is survived by her son, Robert Satteson and his wife Anne of Nescopeck; daughter, Kathy Satteson of Milton; grandchildren, Jason and Tanya Satteson and their sons, Mylan and Ari of Cranberry Township, Emily and CJ Rhoad of Annville, and Adam and Ellen Satteson and their sons Owen, Wesley, Leo, and Sam of Gainesville, Fla.; and her sisters, Ruth Orndorf, Grace Jordan and her husband Harry; and brother, Robert Dressler.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Marilyn, David and Velma; sister-in-law, Viola Dressler; and brother-in-law, Nevin Orndorf.
The family would like to thank the staff at Milton Nursing and Rehabilitation for her care during her final months.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Blank Funeral Home, Sunbury.
