Carolyn Yori Obituary

Carolyn S. "Billie" Yori, 76, of East Brady, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning.

Born May 31, 1948 in New Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Mary Ellen Fox.

Billie was a 1966 graduate of Redbank Valley High School.

She lived over 50 years in the East Brady area and worked for over 20 years at Yori's Beer Distributor.

Billie previously worked at Nelson's Hardware, the water authority and helped with her husband's contracting business.

She was a member of the East Brady United Methodist Church and volunteered at East Brady Food Bank.

Billie was an active member of the East Brady Post No. 488 American Legion.

She loved Diet Coke and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Billie enjoyed crafting, crocheting and watching Hallmark movies.

Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband, Andrew L. "Butch" Yori Jr., whom she married on Nov. 18, 1967; her daughter, Kelli S. Yori of New Bethlehem; her brother, Barry Fox and wife, Marsha, of New Bethlehem; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Billie was preceded in death by her mother and her sister, Judy R. Crissman.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 30, 2024 at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home, located at 758 Main Street in Rimersburg, with Pastor Cecil Craig officiating.

Interment will be in Herman Cemetery, Porter Township, Clarion County.
