Ethan Legrand Obituary

Ethan Daniel Legrand, 20, of New Bethlehem, died Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois as the result of injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Born July 6, 2004 in Clarion, he was the son of Felicito Legrand Jr. and Heather (Miller) Walters.

He was a 2022 graduate of Clarion-Limestone High School and Clarion County Career Center Welding Program.

He was employed as an iron worker apprentice for Local Union No. 3.

Ethan enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends, as well as traveling to Puerto Rico with his father and siblings.

He was always smiling and friendly to everyone and had a heart of gold.

Ethan only had 20 years on this earth, but he lived every day to the fullest and made an everlasting impression.

Those surviving, in addition to his parents, are his step-father, Joseph Walters Jr.; his brothers, Christopher Legrand, Robert (Valerie) Legrand, Shane Walters, Zakk Walters, Evan Eshbaugh, Bracken Eshbaugh, Asher Walters and Hank Walters; his sisters, Nikki (Harvest) Morrow and Sydney Walters; his grandmother, Tina Myers; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

His family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Leatherwood Church, located at 899 Church Road in New Bethlehem.

A funeral service will follow the time of visitation at 7 p.m., at the church, with the Rev. Doug Henry officiating.
