With deep love and sorrow, the family of Helen Stewart Brandon Harness announces her peaceful passing at the age of 92 on April 24th, 2025.
Born on October 7th, 1932, Helen lived a long and meaningful life filled with love, resilience, and grace. She was a devoted mother, proud grandmother, and great-grandmother whose presence brought warmth and comfort to everyone around her. Her greatest joy was her family, and she spent her life nurturing and supporting them with unwavering love.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Debbie Thomas and devoted son-in-law Tommy Thomas, along with 6 grandchildren including Renee and Jimmy Lawson and Stewart and Andrea Thomas. Helen had a host of great-grandchildren including Breiana Lawson and Colton Thomas, along with 2 nephews Jody Stewart and Rick Stewart and 4 nieces Cheryl and Rod Wieking, Peggy Nace, Brenda Stephens and Lisa and Ralph Stark who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gene Brandon(Pinky), second husband Paul Harness, parents Thelma and George Stewart, her four brothers, Bill Stewart and Doris Mcgraw, Joe and Goldie Stewart, Bob and Jo Stewart, Jim and Mary Stewart, her son Tommy Brandon, and her daughter Connie and Randell Marsee. With special friends Loretta Painter and Sue Rogers. Though she has left this world, her legacy lives on through the generations she helped shape.
A visitation memorial will be held to honor and celebrate her remarkable life on May 10th, 2025, at 12:00pm to 1:00pm with a service at 1:00pm at the Potters House Church in Harriman Tn.
She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her strength, and the deep love she gave so freely to those around her.
