Errol Paul Janet, age 75, born on May 7, 1948, passed away unexpectedly, complications from hiatal hernia surgery, on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
Errol was born and raised in Mansura, LA, to Dallas and Rosalie Juneau Janet. His profession was a Radiologic Technologist, working at OLOL Hospital, Digital Diagnostic Center and St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, from which he retired. He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, and also a member of the Greystone Golf Club.
Errol is survived by his wife of 44 years, Cathy Barbier Janet; brothers-in-law, Stan Barbier (Vesta), Kenneth Barbier (Leeann), and Pat Barbier; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joan Janet; and brothers, Dallas J. Janet, Jr. and Patrick Janet.
Visitation will take place at Most Blessed Sacrament on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM until Memorial Mass at 12:00 PM.
