Linda Pribble Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 17, 2024.
Linda Marie Pribble passed away on November 10, 2024, in Central City, Colorado. Born on December 30, 1955, in Florida, Linda lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and adventure. She moved from her early home in Davenport, Iowa, to Colorado in 2009, where she continued to touch the lives of those around her. Linda was a beacon of generosity and warmth to all who knew her.

In 2010, Linda was diagnosed with breast cancer, which she bravely fought and beat over a two-year battle., a testament to her strength and determination. Professionally, Linda dedicated herself to the casino industry, working as a table games dealer at The Isle Property Rhythm City Casino in Davenport from June 1996 until September 2009. She then advanced to a supervisor position at The Horseshoe Casino in Blackhawk, Colorado, where she remained until her passing. Additionally, Linda was an enthusiastic paparazzi independent jewelry consultant, a role she cherished alongside her main career.

A passionate fan of the Chicago Cubs, Linda traveled extensively to support her team, from spring training in Arizona to the iconic Wrigley Field in Chicago. Her love for music and concerts, coupled with a zest for travel and culinary adventures, and making every outing a memorable one this made her life one full of joy and excitement. She was a generous gift-giver to those she loved dearly and although she did not have children of her own, she treated her many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews as her own children and grandchildren. Linda had the biggest and kindest heart, always willing to help someone in need, even if she had little herself. She enjoyed making memories with her family, whether through travel or simply chatting on the phone. Her infectious laugh and looming smile will be greatly missed by many.

Linda leaves behind a loving family, her four siblings: Jerry Jr. (Jeannie) of Cheyenne; Debbie (Fermin), Brenda (Manual), and Tammy (Cleto), all of Laramie. her ten nieces and nephews: Danyaray of Casper; Melissa (Juan), Jesse, Caroline (Louis), all of Laramie; Johnny (Kayla), Timothy, all of Texas; Sean (Brittany), Tyler (Alexis), Sergio (Abigail), and Julian, all of Laramie.
