Martha Wiegel Obituary
Martha Jane Wiegel, 100, of Arcola, IL passed away at 11:30 P.M. on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Arbor Rose of Monticello, IL.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, February 5, 2024 at the Little Grove Cemetery near Walnut Hill, IL.
Martha was born August 7, 1923, in Centralia, IL. She was a daughter of Rufus and Helen (Woods) Craig. She married Floyd Wiegel on November 28, 1942 in St. Charles, MO. He passed away on January 29, 1998.
Survivors include one son, Glen Wiegel and his wife Donna of Normal, IL; three granddaughters, Ann, Heidi, and Jamey; four great grandson, two great granddaughters; one great-great-grandson and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Floyd, one son Donald, two brothers Ned and Kenneth Craig, and one sisters Helen Kessler and her husband Joseph.
Martha was a member of the First Christian Church in Arcola.
Martha retired from Magnavox Corp. in Urbana. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, sewing and crocheting.
