It is with profound sadness that the family of Mary Ann Mimmo Paccione announce her sudden passing at the age of 76. Mary Ann was born on August 16, 1948,in Nyack to Angelo and Mary (Prestipino) Mimmo. She was a proud and lifelong resident of West Haverstraw, and a Parishioner of St. Peter's church her entire life. Mary Ann (Gigi) will be sadly missed by all who loved and cherished her. She touched the lives of everyone she met. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Joseph Paccione, daughter Angela Brega, son-in-law Jason, and her adored granddaughter Melania Josephine, who was the light of her life. She was an amazing wife, devoted mother, and extremely dedicated Gigi to her "Princess" Melania. Mary Ann loved to cook, bake, and travel. She spent many years boating and traveling around the world. Holidays were her favorite time to cook and instill traditions and spend time with her family which was most important to her. Maryann especially loved our family vacations where we created so many special memories. She had a zest for and Life and an energy you could not match.



She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and numerous cousins who loved her immensely. MaryAnn was employed at Momentive Performance Materials for 36 years, she then retired and remained there part-time. She had been a member of the Italian American Social Club, Ladies Auxiliary where her parents had been Charter Members she also had volunteered at St. Peter's Food Pantry.



Mary Ann was predeceased by her parents, Angelo and Mary Mimmo, sons James and Brian Perini, brother Philip Mimmo Sr. and sister Angelina Malta.

The Funeral arrangements will be at T.J. McGowan and Son's Funeral home at 71 North Central Highway, Garnerville, NY. Calling hours are from 4:00PM to 8:00PM on Thursday, October 17th. The funeral mass will take place on Friday, October 18th at 11:15AM at St. Peters Church 115 Broadway Haverstraw. Burial will be at St. Peters Cemetery following the mass.
