Rosalyne Hill Brooks, 95, widow of Harry Brooks, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at her home on Sugar Creek Pike in Nicholasville, Kentucky. She was born in Jessamine County, Kentucky, on January 15, 1929, to the late Miles Hill and Melinda Carr Hill. Rosalyne was a homemaker and farmer for many years and a lifelong Wesley Chapel Methodist Church member. She is survived by her children, daughter Carolyn Brooks Beaumont; two sons, Wayne Brooks, his wife Barbara, Gene Brooks, and his wife Deborah; six grandchildren, Cathy Beaumont Woolums and her husband Jim, Sara Beth Lusk, and her husband, Charles, Jenny Barber and her husband, Jason, Michael Seth Brooks (Shannon Mckee), Jonah Elliott Brooks and Harry (Junior) Brooks, and nine great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two granddaughters, Jennifer Brooks and Jeanette Brooks, and eight siblings. Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Stinnett officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Harry. Bearers will be Kenny Smith, Todd Skelton, Jonah Brooks, Michael Brooks, Charles Lusk, and Jon Todd Toole. The visitation will be held from 4-8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Betts & West is honored to serve Rosalyne and the Brooks family in their time of need.
