Timothy Petty Obituary

Mr. Timothy Lamont Petty entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Sova Health in Danville, Virginia.
Timothy was a son of the late Jimmy Brandon and Virginia Carolyn Mitchell born on January 19, 1976 in Danville, Virginia. He was educated in the Danville Public School System and was last employed with Walmart. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Norman and Virginia Petty and was last married to Rita Davis.
Timothy leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Timiney Petty and Crystal Caddle both of Danville, Virginia; two sons, Taeveon Petty, Traevon Petty both of Danville, Virginia; one brother, Victor Hamlett of Danville, Virginia; one sister, Twanda Gayle Crews (Mike Nibblett) of Danville Virginia; one aunt, Linda Stamps (Wayne) of Danville, Virginia, one uncle Harvey Hamlett (Ernestine)of Danville, Virginia; his special friend Rhoda Berger and "Baby Girl" of Danville, Virginia and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. from the J.L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment, 447 Old South Main Street, Danville, Virginia. Apostle David Fuller, Eulogist.
A public viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
The family is asking relatives and friends to assemble at 4:20 p.m. on day of service at the funeral home.
