Wayne Collette Obituary
Wayne graduated from Fitchburg High School before advancing his education at UMass Lowell with a Bachelor of Science degree in Polymer Engineering. His professional life was marked by a successful career as VP of Research and Development at Continental PET in Bedford, NH, where he was respected for his innovative mind and leadership.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen (Coughlin) Collette; sons, Shawn P. Collette and Ryan A. Collette of Manchester NH; brother, Norman M. Collette of Corinth, VT; and sister, Cynthia L. Henderson of Shirley, MA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman T. and Lucille (Lemieux) Collette of Fitchburg, MA.
Wayne will be remembered for his kindness and dedication to his family and friends and his love of "G&Ts." His legacy of warmth and generosity will forever resonate with those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In keeping with the wishes of Wayne and his family, no services have been planned at this time.

Wayne was a quiet neighbor except on the day he painted his deck to the tunes of the Moody Blues! He didn't miss a beat with his paint strokes keeping perfect rhythm to Ride My See Saw.

Wayne was a quiet neighbor except when he painted his deck to the tunes of the Moody Blues! Believe me he was keeping his paint strokes in time with the music...Ride My See Saw...we had a lovely visit. Wayne will be surely missed

One time prior to a staff meeting in Florence Ky. We made one of the pictures on the wall hang crooked where the staff meeting was to take place. We wanted to see how long it would take Wayne to straighten the picture. He was always such a "perfectionist." It only took 10 minutes into the staff meeting, Wayne got up very calmly and walked over and straightened the picture. The whole staff of Continental PET Technologies burst it to laughter. I express my deepest sympathy for Kathy and his family. May he rest in peace.
