LIMA -- Mark Steven Boyed, age 63 of Lima, passed away at 12:52 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at CareCore Nursing Home in Lima. With his family at his side and complications from a surgery, he was called home to the Lord. Mark was born on September 30, 1962 to his parents Don and Polly Boyed of Vaugnsville.
Mark also has two surviving brothers, Shawn and Kelly Boyed, both of Vaughnsville, his daughter, Brittany Ziegler of Lima and son, Mathew of Delphos, two granddaughters, Madelyn and Lydia of Lima, two nieces, Terra Unterbrink (Josh) of Lima and Amanda Boyed Roeder (Cody) of Columbus Grove, great nieces, Laylah and Ellie and three great nephews, Max, Jaiden and Ollie.
It is Mark's wishes that no visitation be done, so there will be graveside services at 1:00 pm Monday, October 27, 2025 at Vaughnsville Cemetery located on Old State Route 12 near Vaughnsville with Pastor Neal Whitney officiating.
Memorial donations may be made in Mark's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Wounded Warriors Project.
Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Servcies are honored to be handling the arrangements.

Mark was always a fun guy lots of memories back in the day my sister Lori W talked about often. My condolences to Kelly and Shawn. St rt 12 where all the sports car were parked in the 80s/90s God bless

I worked with Mark figuring out his Medicare every year. He was one of my favorite clients. Always in a good mood no matter what. Sad. Rest in peace Mark.
