JANE NUSS Obituary

Jane Welcome Nuss (nee Finkbohner), age 96 entered into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, October 4, 2025. A faithful servant of her Lord Jesus, Jane longed to go to her eternal home.
Jane was born in Stockton, California on July 1, 1929 to Otto and Gladys Finkbohner. Jane grew up on the Finkbohner farm, graduated from Stockton High as well as College of the Pacific (now U.O.P.) She married Reuben Nuss in 1952 and became a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. A long time member of Temple Baptist Church, now Gracepoint Church, her greatest joy was in serving the Lord through her service to her family and friends.
Jane's is predeceased by her husband Reuben Nuss, and her son-in-law, Tom Baber. Jane is survived by her children, Nancy and Geoff Skjelbred, David and Kelly Nuss, and Renee Baber. She has six beloved grandchildren: Jenn, Jamie, Brent, Derek, Tim, and Tyler. She delighted in also having ten great grandchildren! She often mentioned how blessed she felt to meet and know her great grandchildren. Jane also has nieces and nephews that loved Aunt Jane.
Jane's memorial service will be held on October 21 at 10am. The location is Cherokee Memorial Park, the Vineyard Chapel, 14165 N. Beckman Road, Lodi, California. All are welcome as we celebrate Jane's faithful life and rejoice in the knowledge that she is at peace in the presence of God.

My condolences to the Nuss Family. I grew up with the family thru the Elkhorn School outside Stockton. Nancy and I went to school together. I so remember the family home that was located along Thorton Road. Lots of memories. May peace be with all of you.
