Nancy Juillerat Obituary

Poland - Nancy J. (Penwell) Juillerat, 74, a lifelong resident of Poland, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family and her four-legged companion, "Domino."
Nancy was born on October 9, 1951, in New Castle, PA, a daughter of the late Frank "Granny" and Phyllis (Gross) Penwell.
She graduated from Mohawk High School in 1971 and later moved to the Mahoning Valley.
Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. A dedicated homemaker, she found joy in caring for her family and spending time with her two granddaughters, who lovingly called her "Grandma." She was a proud supporter of her sons and granddaughters in all their school and sporting activities. In her free time, Nancy enjoyed playing bingo, cards, making crafts, baking for family and friends and cheering on her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joseph R. Juillerat, whom she married on July 8, 1972; two sons, Josh R. Juillerat of Hubbard, OH, and Kevin D. Juillerat of Poland, OH; two granddaughters, Jordyn Juillerat and Ava Juillerat; three brothers, Edward (Billie) Penwell of New Castle, PA, David (Karen) Penwell of Campbell, OH, and Danny E. (Connie) Penwell of Lowellville, OH; a sister, Judy A. Anderson of New Middletown, OH; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews as well as many cousins; a sister-in-law, Sandi Juillerat of Indiana; her lifelong best friend Crystal J. Book-Romack of Poland, OH.
Besides her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Kenny J. Penwell, and her brother-in-law, George Juillerat.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Chestnut Ridge Church of God, 7215 Chestnut Ridge Road, Hubbard, OH. A memorial service celebrating Nancy's life will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Rob McFarland officiating. Interment will take place at Poland Riverside Cemetery in Poland.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Chestnut Ridge Church of God, 7215 Chestnut Ridge Road, Hubbard, OH 44425, or to SouthernCare Hospice, 970 Windham Court, Suite #7, Youngstown, OH 44512, in memory of Nancy.
