Jay E. Boisvert, 72, passed away at home, with his family at his side, on October 8, 2024. The son of the late Thomas E. and June (Rich) Boisvert, Jay was born on May 22, 1952. Jay attended Chicopee schools and worked as an inspector at Titeflex Corporation in Springfield. Jay frequently attended car shows in the area with his blue 1976 Corvette and he was also very proud of the vegetable garden he tended at home. Jay is survived by his wife, Diane (Allen) Boisvert, a step-daughter, Stacey Valliere and her husband, Rod, and their children Aidan and Quinn; a brother, Thomas E. Boisvert, Jr., and his nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jay was also predeceased by his sister, April Mae Messier, in 2021. Services for Jay will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield St., Chicopee. A period of visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30am, followed by a funeral home service at 10:30. Committal services will be held privately. Memorial contributions in Jay's name can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation at PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network) To share a memory with the family or to leave your condolences, please visit www.CorridanFuneral.com
