Vickie Rigdon Obituary

MAYSVILLE — Vickie Lee Rigdon, 68, of Maysville, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, at UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center, in Lexington.

Vickie was born Dec. 24, 1956, in Maysville, to the late Forrest Cooper and the late Margie Evans.

She was a lifetime resident of Maysville. Rescuing cats was a passion of hers, as well as her dogs and playing the lottery. She was a loving sister who will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her sister Tina (Arthur) Millar; half-brother Gus English; aunt, Linda (Jim) Donahue of Killeen, Texas; nephews Larry Saunders of Mobile, Alabama, Robbie (Gwendoline) Saunders of Mobile, AL; nieces Victoria "Boo" (Nathan) Conley of Lewis County, Wanda (Joe McDonald) Gioia of Benton Harbor, Michigan, Toni (Jay) Smith, Misty (Joe) Carpenter, Crystal Cooper all of Michigan; and many great nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by her husband Frank Rigdon; brother James Cooper; nieces Michelle Deese and Amanda Cooper.

Services for Vickie Rigdon will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, at Brell and Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Charleston Bottoms Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the services.
