Peter Edward Bysiewicz passed away on August 21, 2024. Peter was born on April 8, 1948, in Middletown, CT and was the son of the late Peter Stanley and Genevieve (Smialowski) Bysiewicz. He is survived by his brother, Raymond A. Bysiewicz, his sisters, Christine A. Bysiewicz and Catherine Bysiewicz-Cluen, and his brother-in-law, Gary J. Cluen. He was pre-deceased by his sister-in-law, Darline Bysiewicz. Most recently Peter was employed by the State of Connecticut, Department of Children and Family Services for twenty-two years. He spent his free time as a sports enthusiast and especially enjoyed baseball and football games. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Loyal Order of Moose and the Polish Falcons. In his younger years he was actively involved with the Jaycees in Middletown. Peter loved his family dearly and left this earth peacefully. Private services were held on August 23, 2024. Donations in Peter's name may be made to the Recreation Program, MARC Community Resources, Ltd., 25 Industrial Park Road, Middletown, CT 06457. I worked with Peter for the last several years and am sorry to hear of his passing. A few of us were able to visit him in early summer and I'm glad to know he is at peace and not suffering. My thoughts go out to his family and I hope that happy memories will keep him alive always in your hearts.

Thoughts and prayers to the Bysiewicz family. Peter was a coworker who was quiet and other times we could get him to chat for a bit. He is missed by a lot of us. I know he is at peace away from pain and suffering. His coworkers will cherish the good memories we had with Peter.
