Robert Roeschlein Obituary

Robert "Shorty" Allan Roeschlein, 78, of Aitkin, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024 in Aicota Health Care Center, Aitkin. He was born July 2, 1946 in Milaca to Frank and Inez (Miller) Roeschlein. Shorty enjoyed woodworking, ice fishing, making his chocolate covered cherries. He especially enjoyed making the rounds on his golf cart and visiting with his friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Shorty is preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Marjorie Roeschlein; brother, William Roeschlein; sister, Marjie Davis.

Shorty is survived by his daughter, Susan (Larry) Sorem of Deerwood; grandchildren, Nathan Johnson, Madison (Tanner) Horn and Isaiah Sorem; great grandchild, Nixon Horn; siblings, Mike (Sharon) Roeschlein and Tim (Karrie) Roeschlein; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial visitation for Shorty will be held Thursday, November 21, from 1-3 PM in Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home, Aitkin. To leave a message of condolence, visit: www.srtfuneral.com. Arrangements are with Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Aitkin.
