Karen Sue (Green) Greiner, 64 years of Sinking Spring, passed away on Monday, Oct. 28, 2024, in Cincinnati after 15 years of fighting cancer.
Karen was born on Feb. 26, 1960, in Adams County, the daughter of Eldon and Wilma (McMillen) Green. Besides her father, Karen is preceded by seven uncles, six aunts, a great aunt, her grandparents, Pat and Faye "little grannie" McMillen, Edward and Anna Green, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lester and Jewel Greiner.
She graduated from Peebles High School in 1978, she retired from Clinton County Human Services in July 2008; after 30 years. She worked as the Postmaster for the Village of Sinking Spring.
Karen married Rick Greiner on April 17, 1982; to their union, they have two children, Nicholas (Mary) Greiner and Kayla Greiner-Hilderbrand, two grandchildren: Garrett Greiner and Zoie Hilderbrand and five sisters, Ann Shoemaker, Kaye Green, Sharon Loper, Trudy Mays Diana Storer.
On behalf of Karen's wishes, she is to be cremated.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
