Charles Joseph Zweber, known to all as "Chuck Jr.," age 82, of Lakeville, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, at Fairview Southdale Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Chuck was born on February 9, 1943, in Lakeville, Minnesota, to Charles H. and Delia Zweber. A lifelong resident of Lakeville, he built his life, family, and career in the community he loved. Alongside his father, Chuck successfully ran Zweber Realty in downtown Lakeville for over 30 years, helping guide the town through a time of tremendous growth and change.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Charles H. and Delia; sisters, Joan and Jackie; and nephew, Richard.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Karen; his sons, Mike (Becky) with children Malia and Ty, Dave (Jen) with children Brooke and Carter, and Steve (Kate) with children Zoe, Ellie, and Beckett; his brother, Pat (Sharon) with their children Andy and Becca and their families; and many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Chuck will be remembered for his generosity and kind heart, his love for his wife and family, and the pride he carried for his three sons - something he was never shy to share with anyone who would listen. He had a booming voice that carried the old-time Gospel hymns he loved so much, a sense of humor marked by practical jokes, and a love for cars and the art of selling them. He cherished time at the lake with family, found joy in watching his grandchildren's activities, and was known in every circle as the life of the party.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 21, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home in Lakeville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, September 22, at 11:30 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Lakeville, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, with a luncheon at the church afterwards.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to all who have supported them during this time. Chuck's legacy of love, laughter, and faith will live on in the many lives he touched.
