Margaret A. (Edson) Bennett of Weymouth, passed away on July 31, 2024. She was 78.
Margaret grew up in Roxbury before moving to Dorchester, then Quincy and ending in Weymouth. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren along with crocheting and playing cards. She will be known for her sass, quick wit and sense of humor.
Wife of the late Joseph T. Bennett, Sr.
Mother of Joseph T. Bennett Jr. of Taunton and Tracy M. Webb of Weymouth. Stepmother of Kevin Bennett of Wareham, Lisa Deagle, and the late Stephen Bennett.
Sister of Patricia Covitz of Stoughton and William Edson of Randolph, and the late Carole Govostes, Mildred Hodorff, James Edson, and Mary Cowell
Cherished Grandmother of Emily, Brendan, Sophia, Evelyn, and Liliana and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday, August 11th from 12 PM- 3PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
