Francis Lembo Obituary
A lifelong resident of the Manchester area, Frank was born on September 30, 1945, to the late Frank Lembo and Mary (Glynn) (Lembo) Hayes. He graduated from Bishop Bradley High School in 1963, then served in the Army in Okinawa and Germany before being honorably discharged.
Frank went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology at UNH, working at the Manchester VA Medical Center for 30 years. After his retirement from the VA, he finished his career in the lab at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua.
Frank always appreciated an adventure, whether piloting his hot air balloon, driving on the German autobahn in his VW bug, or exploring his heritage in Italy. He spent many years working on home improvement projects in and around his beloved bow roof cape.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Maureen (Morais) Lembo; two daughters, Karen Berthiaume (Paul Varma) and Christina Lembo (Jonathan Chuang); and two grandsons, Nathaniel Berthiaume and Benjamin Chuang; his sister-in-law Marilyn McCorkle; and cousins, Kathy and Mike Jennings, John and Alice Sferro, and Richard and Robert Glynn.
Frank was a devoted member of St Catherine of Siena Church.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Villa Crest Nursing and Retirement Center and The Elliott VNA Hospice for the kindness and care shown to Frank.
Services: A calling hour will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 9 to 10 AM at Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH.
The funeral will follow with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 207 Hemlock Street, corner of Webster Street, Manchester, NH.
Burial with military honors will proceed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford, NH.
Memorial donations in Frank's name may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society, 55 Chapel St., Suite 200, Newton, MA 02458, http://www.braintumor.org.

So sorry to learn of Frank’s passing. I knew Frank when he lived on Doris Street in south Manchester. He was a reserved and gentile person, a niece guy. My deepest sympathy go to his family.

Frank was my Chemistry Supervisor at the VA Medical Center. He was a wealth of knowledge but more importantly he was a kind person and treated his employees fairly and with respect. My heart goes out to Maureen and the Lembo family. Rest in peace Frank. ❤
