Obituary published on Legacy.com by Royal Funeral Home, Inc. - Jesup on Oct. 2, 2024.
Adam was born March 25, 1962, in Baltimore, MD, the fifth child of the late Samuel and Alberta Harris. He was educated in the Baltimore City public school system and was a graduate of Forest Park H.S. where he was an exceptional basketball player receiving many offers to attend several Division I Universities. He worked many years for Tyson Chicken in Kentucky. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Baltimore for many years.
Adam loved traveling and lived in Kentucky, Texas, and Georgia for many years. He was an avid fan of the Baltimore Ravens and shared his enthusiasm with his beloved nieces and nephews. His passion for family was evidenced by his relationship with his nieces and nephews who always wanted to hang out with their Uncle Adam affectionately known as "Unc." His adventurous spirit, despite his physical limitations, motivated him to spend time outdoors riding his electric scooter around Kingsland enjoying the fresh air and independence.
Adam passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Steven Maurice Harris, and Stanley Harris, and one sister, Cassandra Diane Harris and his nephew, Sean Williams. Adam was the loving father of one son, Frank Richardson, Eastpoint, GA.
He leaves to cherish his memory one brother, Samuel Cornelius Harris, Jr (Rita), and one sister, Alison Lillie Williams (Kelvin), Nieces & Nephews, Michelle Harris, MD (Tamera, Quentin,) Amy, Adam, Amber, Bria, Nina, Lakiesha, Kentucky, Shalis, Tamara, Sean Gordon, TX, Kelvin Williams Jr (Sean, Joshua, Jayden, Zion, Princess), Alexander Williams (Danesha) Tylan, AJ, Trinitee, Trevor Williams, Ciara Williams (Nyla and Maria); along with a host of cousins and friends.

I first met Adam on the basketball court. We had some fierce battles and man could he play! Later we found out that our older brothers were best friends. What a small world we share. May God grant peace and comfort to you and your family Adam. Rest in peace.
