Taft – Adolfo A. Naranjo passed away on February 18, 2025. He was 65.
Adolfo was born in Sinton, Texas on November 10, 1959 to Tomasa (Arevalo) and Miguel Zaragosa Naranjo. He spent most of his life in Taft before moving to Houston in 1977. Adolfo worked as a barber for Joe Lee's Barber Shop for several years before retiring and moving back to Taft last year. He was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
Preceding him in death is his parents: Miguel and Tomasa Naranjo; siblings: Elva Naranjo, Herminia Tijerina, Elisa Saldana and Fidel Naranjo.
Survivors include his sons: Adolfo Naranjo, Jr. and Andrew Naranjo both from Taft, Texas; grandson: Anakin Naranjo; great grandson: Luke Naranjo; brothers: Felix Naranjo, Miguel Naranjo (Norma) and Arturo Naranjo (Norma) all from Taft, Texas, Tomas Naranjo, Sr. (Janie) from Bay City, Texas; sisters: Aurora Martinez, Lucia Carrera, Adelfa Moreno and Elvira Esquivel (Mike) all from Taft, Texas and Delia Jaime (Luis) from Corpus Christi, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 28, 2025, 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. Burial will be held at a later date.
