Rest in Peace my brother, always a Gentleman ♥

I remember Wylie's first day at work at the post office, he showed up wearing a pair of heavy work boots. I told him he wouldn't last the day walking in them and offered an extra pair of sneakers I had in my locker. He gladly accepted them and a bond of friendship developed. I retired a few months later and I would hear from him a few times every year since. We always shared a few laughs and fell wishes and was just asking about him with another carrier a few days before hearing of his passing. My sincere condolences to the family and friends. R.I.P. Wylie !

I first met Wiley as he delivered mail to my daughter´s house back in 2015-16. A gentle giant who always had a smile on his face, even when things were tough. He had that smooth and calming voice that always seems to say Hi! He began to be a main stay in our lives, like most of the postmen nowaday he had that caring sense, always looking out for residents! As years went by, Wylie became a person my grandson became to know, My grandson Grant would always tell him, My father is also a mailman. Grant would give Wylie Hi-5s and tell him to beep the horn. We would see Wylie less when he took a new position delivering packages. But when I saw him I would pull over when possible and give him a hug and make sure he was okay. He would almost always say I´m good, and then ask how myself and the family was doing.Wylie,You have touched many lives in your life time I´m sure, But I´m glad that God had us meet and for that I am thankful! I will miss you my friend.

Boy does the neighborhood miss you still, from Donna´s coffee to my water bottles ration, we could count on you! Rest now no more inclement weather for you to deal with, you got a new route and God will be happy!

Enjoyed the simple things in life.

Wylie was my postal carrier for a few years at my previous address. He was such a friendly and wonderful person. Always had a smile on his face. I´m am saddened to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace.

Wylie was the best! Always had a smile. Loved his laugh. He loved my cookies. He will be missed.
