Alicia "Nana" Harris, 65, passed away on March 15, 2024, in Clayton, Georgia. Born in the scenic state of Oregon, Nana honorably served her nation in the United States Navy, a testament to her strength and patriotism.
With a heart full of kindness and a wit that could light up any room, Alicia Harris was a source of joy and laughter to all who knew her. Her dedication to her work was unparalleled, and her willingness to help others was a hallmark of her generous spirit. She had a passion for gardening, nurturing her plants with the same love and attention she gave to her family and friends. Alicia's yard was a reflection of her soul, vibrant and full of life, a sanctuary where nature thrived under her care.
Animals and the beauty of the natural world resonated with Nana, and she found true contentment in the simple pleasures that the earth provided. Her spirit seemed to dance with the rhythm of the changing seasons, each bloom and creature a cherished friend in her eyes.
Alicia's legacy is lovingly carried on by her daughter Kimberly Herrick, granddaughter Maranda Herrick, great-grandson Callum Herrick, and close family members Beth Benson and Joshua Coburn. They, along with countless others touched by her spirited grace, will continue to feel her influence in their lives.
As we bid farewell to Alicia "Nana" Harris, we remember a life lived with honor, laughter, and an abundance of love. Her memory will be forever etched in the hearts of those she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace.
