Amar Boles Obituary
Barney Amar Boles, 66 of Santee, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 28, 2024.
Born on February 11, 1958 in Hampton Amar was a son of the late Allie Rogers Boles and Barney Boles.
Amar was an avid Gamecock fan, he especially enjoyed football and baseball. He loved fishing, playing guitar, and spending time at the lake.
Amar is preceded in death by his parents.
Amar is survived by a son Dr. Baker Boles (Laura); a daughter Sarah Margaret Westbury (Reese); four grandchildren; a sister Kaye Hill (Ike); and his ever-faithful dog companion, Taz.
Services will be held privately at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Church, Santee or the charity of one’s choice.
