Andrew Altius Obituary

Andrew Altius, son of the late Saul James Altius and Veronica Cherry, was born in St. Lucia on November 29, 1956 and on March 17, 2026 he departed this life. He moved to Florida in the late nineties. He was an entrepreneur. He started a business called Rightaway Services. He was the stucco man for 22 years. He attended St. Andrews Catholic Church in Orlando, Florida until the COVID pandemic.

He met Ola in 2018, they fell in love and married on July 17, 2020. He was affectionately known as Sealy.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Ola Altius of Plymouth, Florida; two sons, Mario Altius (Angela) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Jonathan T. Jones of Los Angeles, California; two daughters, Neccera Altius and Juanita Edgard (Michael), both of St. Lucia; two granddaughters, Ketanna Auguste of Canada and Nicole Edgard of St. Lucia; great-grandson, J'Maar Constable; two sisters, Roselyn Altius of New York and Ann Marie Herman (Hilary) of St. Lucia; brother, Marcellinus Altius; 3 brothers-in-law, Asper Dawson (Gwen), Michael Watley (Cynt), Andrew Watley, all of Opa Locka, Alabama; 5 sisters-in-law, Annie Roberts (James) of Windermere, Florida, Leila Merryman of Fresno, Texas, Annie Jean Edwards, and Christine Johnson (Steve) both of Opa Locka, Alabama, and Diane Whitker of Conyers, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
