Angela Patricia Ferry, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 21, 2024. Born in West Ealing, England, Angela grew up as one of 12 children in a bustling, loving home. After graduating high school, she pursued her passion at beauty school, where her creativity and love for helping others flourished.
At the tender age of 17, Angela met the love of her life, Guy Maxwell Ferry Jr., who was serving in the United States Air Force stationed in England. Their love story was one of fate and devotion, and they were married on March 3, 1958. Shortly after, Angela embarked on a brave journey to the United States, where she awaited Guy's return. The couple later settled in
Raymond, NH, and built a life filled with love and joy.
Angela was not only a proud U.S. citizen, but a proud mother, raising her two children, Robert and Karen, with deep love and devotion. Family meant everything to her. She poured her heart into creating a warm and happy home, where laughter echoed and memories were made. Though she endured the profound loss of her infant daughter Donna, her strength and love never faltered.
Angela's 66 years of marriage to Guy were a testament to their unbreakable bond. They shared a love that was beautiful in its simplicity, whether they were dancing together every Saturday night or spending quiet moments side by side. They were not just partners in life, but best friends who cherished every day they had together.
Angela's love extended beyond her immediate family. She adored her grandchildren and cherished every moment she spent with them. Whether celebrating birthdays, hosting family gatherings, or enjoying a summer day by the pool, Angela's heart was full when she was surrounded by her family.
In addition to running a hair salon from her home for over a decade, Angela worked for more than 20 years at Elliott Hospital in Manchester, NH, in the Ear, Nose, and Throat department, where she cared for patients with the same warmth and kindness she shared with her family.
Angela's joy for life was evident in everything she did. She loved the outdoors, and in the summer, she could be found by the pool or hosting lively parties for family and friends. In the winter, she embraced the snow, skiing, sledding, and snowshoeing with a youthful spirit. Angela had a special bond with animals and could always be found loving on her pets as much as she did her family.
Her legacy of love, warmth, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Angela leaves behind her beloved husband of 66 years, Guy Maxwell Ferry Jr.; her daughter Karen Ann Richard; her son Robert Ferry and his partner Heather McKinley; her grandchildren Robbie Maxwell Ferry, Taylor Joseph Ferry, and Hannah Rein Ferry; and many nieces and nephews in England. She was a woman who would give the shirt off her back to help others, always putting her loved ones first.
A graveside service will be held on October 29, 2024, at 11:00 AM at New Pine Grove Cemetery on Epping Street in
Raymond, NH.
