Mrs. Anita Belle Holloway Mullins, age 75, passed on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Anita was born August 1, 1950, in Blue Ridge, GA, to the late Lawrence Fred and Gladys Rogers Holloway. Anita was the Gilmer County Probate Judge from September 2003 until December 2016. Anita was a member of the Macedonia Church of Christ for many years. Anita is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Warren Mullins.
Anita is survived by her son, David Mullins (Bobbi Leigh), daughter Julie Adams (Clint), grandchildren J.J. Mullins, Sarah Parks (Jessie), Morgan Mullins(Marley), Dawson Mullins, Gabriel Mullins, great-grandchildren Emma Jane Parks, Ella Grace Parks, Elsie Jo Parks, Silas Jessie Parks, Maddox Anthony Mullins, Merritt Estelle Mullins, Mason James Mullins, sister Deborah Holloway Dotson, brother Roger Holloway, several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 2:00pm from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister David Mullins officiating. Congregational singing will be led by Cody Bearden. Interment will follow at the Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery. Jody Dotson, Eric Dotson, Jared Holloway, Gabriel Mullins, Jeremiah Holloway, Morgan Mullins, Jessie Parks, and Roger Holloway will serve as pallbearers. Dawson Mullins and Bud Kirby will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Flowers are being accepted, or donations can be made to the Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery fund in memory of Anita. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.loganfuneralhome.com. Logan Funeral Home & Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
