Anita "Nina" Brill (nee Cooperman), passed away on July 11, 2025. Wife of the late Edward Brill. Mother of Joni (Joseph) Morretta, Paula Angelus, Debra (Neil) Curtis and the late Amy Murphy (Kevin). Grandmother of 8 and Great Grandmother of 10. Sister of the late Seena "Sibby" Pachter.
Anita took care of her husband during a long illness, while working full time and raising 4 daughters.
With those four daughters, Anita had a lot of practice styling, which probably led to her jobs at Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor until she retired at age 86. Everywhere Anita went, she met former customers, who expressed how friendly, helpful and kind she was.
Even though she loved her work, family always came first. Her kindness and love shown through strongly; even strangers and casual acquaintances were drawn to her.
She was beautiful inside and out, was a light in this world and will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Monday 12 Noon precisely at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery (sec. 31), 1200 Bartram Avenue, Collingdale, PA 19023. Shiva will be observed Monday only at the Oak Hill Clubhouse. Contributions in her memory may be made to Sharsheret.org.
6410 N Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19126
