Ann worked as a phone operator for Ohio Bell for 42 years. Ann was very involved in her church and was very strong in her faith. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to so many people. Ann's friendships meant so much to her especially her friend of 43 years, Maria. Ann enjoyed being around children, especially her great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Collins and Terri Clough (Richard); four grandchildren, Heather Cosey (Conrad), Alysa Fetters (TJ), Jillian Collins, and Jimmy Collins; six great grandchildren, Brady and Kyle Fetters, Olivia and Cydney Cosey, Kanaan and Evelyn Johnson; sisters, Laura Thomas, Carolyn Pate, Jane Formosa, Becky Sabler (Mike).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ansel; son, Jason Ansel; brother, Robert Lee; sister, Catherine Overstreet, and sister, Martha Harris.
Burial will be a private service.
Words cannot express how grateful we are for the kind and loving care that was given to our grandmother and mother in her final days. We appreciate the compassionate team at Gentiva Hospice and all that they have done for us. Each member of the team made caring for my grandmother so much easier. Each one of them has brought something different, yet wonderful, to help Ann heal and pass peacefully. We are so grateful for this company and these wonderful people to be available to us in our deep time of sorrow. They have gone above and beyond their call of caring. In lieu of flowers, we would encourage and ask that you make a donation in Anna Ansel's name to Gentiva Hospice, so that they can pass on the loving care they gave to us to those who will need it in the future.

So many memories growing up on West 215. I was friends with Sherry & I remember her mom Anna to be the sweetest lady, always smiling & never a harsh word. Before she moved I would sometimes see her driving down 215 & always thought someday I would stop by & say hello. Sorry I didn´t. Lovely lady who will be missed. RIP Kathleen Tindal Baker
