Annabel Marisca Obituary

Annabel Houx Marisca passed away peacefully on Sunday evening at the age of 51. She was a loving mother to three amazing children, Jack (17), Carter (14) and Elle (12) and wife to Michael Marisca for 20 years. A resident of Darien for over 13 years, Annabel co-founded and was a constant presence at CST50 Darien and Westport.
Annabel loved fitness and was the strongest woman you would ever know. Her dedication to it was only surpassed by her love and devotion to her family and friends. She was truly selfless and constantly put others' needs ahead of her own, especially when it came to her children.
Annabel had more friends than she can count and was so thankful for all of them. From growing up in New Canaan and Greenwich, CT, to living and working in New York City after she graduated from Simmons College and being a proud hockey and lacrosse mom in Darien, her wonderful group of friends were a daily presence in her life.
She was a loving daughter to a father she adored, John Houx, and constantly kept the memory of her beautiful late mother, Genevieve Houx, as a guiding light in her life. She was also a loving sister to Ben Houx.
The world is truly a better place for having her in it and her legacy will endure through her amazing children. Please remember and celebrate her every day just as she is in this picture, vibrant and loving with a smile that lit up ever room she entered.
