Arthur Carroll Obituary

Arthur Carroll, age 79 of Dayton passed away October 2, 2024. He was born April 25, 1945 in Dayton, the son of the late William and Martha (Comley) Carroll. He retired from Duriron Company, reitiring after over 30 years of service. Arthur's passion was softball, both playing and coaching. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; siblings, William Carroll, Jr., Marcella Cox, and Forrest Carroll. He is survived by two daughters, Annette Carroll-McPheron, Tricia Carroll; three grandchildren, Joshua Carroll, Jessica McPheron, Tyler Martin Benbow; four great-grandchildren, Braxton McPheron, Phoenix McPheron, Alexis Carroll, Tyson Carroll; sister, Jannie Mae Marshall; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 29, 2024 at 7:30 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn. The family will receive friends from 6:30 P.M. until the time of service.
