Age 90 passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 28, 2024.
She Lived in Blaine, MN. She was born in a farm house in Nansen Township, North Dakota, near the city of Colfax on December 6th, 1933. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James A Fish (Fish), her mother Adeline & father Adolph Haverland. Her cherished sisters Lois Shull (Gerald), Fay Sparlin (Stonewall), Mary Varin & Ann Lindeen (Richard). Brothers John & Buddy Haverland (Virgie). Niece (#1) Loretta Dunnell (Rodney), Nephews Ernie & Ronald Shull.
Audrey is survived by sons Michael Fish (Heidi) & Patrick Fish (Nancy), daughter Tobi
Fish (Larry).
Grandchildren Nichole (Brad), Christopher (Kim) & Lindsie (Brett). Great grandchildren Noelle, Adeline & Tilly.
Sisters Joanie Hegwood (Ron) & Ginger Ballestrazze (Michael). Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews & great great nieces & nephews.
Audrey moved to the big city of Minneapolis, when she was 18, from her home in Gemmell, MN. She worked at the Walgreens in downtown Minneapolis as a sales clerk. She enlisted in the United States Air Force on April 15th, 1952. She proudly served during the Korean Conflict. She met the love of her life while in the USAF. She married James Fish on Sept 2nd, 1954. After travelling with Fish as he was Stationed in Germany, Oklahoma, Spain and finally Omaha Nebraska. She moved with her children to Grand Rapids, MN after Fish was sent to serve in the Vietnam Conflict. They decided to settle down and purchase their only home in Blaine, MN. She worked in assembly at Sperry Univac & was very proud to be a union steward for her fellow employees.
Audrey loved her children and watched over them like a mother grizzly bear. She was always there making sure they were taken care of with Love, Understanding & Guidance.
Audrey was an extremely loving, very generous & passionate person. She was always ready to help anyone and everyone. She loved sports. She especially loved baseball & was a diehard St Louis Cardinals fan.
Audrey, of all the sisters, was most like her father Adolph. She stayed up all
night long, watching TV and reading. She was a highly intelligent person; able to rattle off all kinds of knowledge at the drop of a hat. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Celebration of Life to be held November 16, 2024 at Brookhall.
