Peoria, AZ, on November 12, 1944, Lela's journey was one marked by boundless love, an adventurous spirit, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community.
Lela's early education took place at Dysart High School, where she attended the ninth grade. Her academic path was brief, but her work ethic was strong. With a heart full of joy, she paved her way into work, becoming a dedicated Medical Assistant. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Dolores and Jesus Galindo, and her brothers, Manuel and Roger Galindo. Their guidance and love shaped the remarkable woman she became. Her legacy continues through her cherished children, Eleanor Padilla, Barbara Coronel, and Ruben Enriquez, her devoted brother, Angel Galindo, and her sisters, Maria Jimenez and Dolores Romero. Lela was a fountain of joy and wisdom for her 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, as well as her many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Music and dancing were the rhythm and beat of Lela's soul. She lived her life like a beautiful melody, one that inspired others to dance along with her. Her friendly demeanor made her a beloved figure in her community, her passionate approach to life was as radiant as the Arizona sun, and her adventurous spirit was a testament to her belief that life was a grand, beautiful adventure to be embraced at every turn.
Lela's story is one of a life lived to the fullest, a reminder that every moment is precious and that the power of a kind heart and an indomitable spirit can move mountains.
