Babette (Betty) Klotz of Denver, Colorado (formerly of Darien, IL) passed away peacefully on her 93rd birthday.

Born on August 30th, 1932 in Schweinfurt, Germany, she devoted her life to making others feel beautiful-both as a professional hairdresser and as someone whose warmth and kindness lit up every room. Known for her patience, nonjudgmental spirit, and silly shenanigans, she made her family laugh even through the challenges of dementia.

She was deeply devoted to her children, who remained by her side until her final days. A true romantic, she never remarried, instead holding onto the memory of her beloved husband, Richard. Today, we celebrate their reunion and the continuation of their love story beyond this life.

Babette is survived by her children Barbara Smith (Thacher) and Richard Klotz (Julie), grandchildren Brittany Blanchard (Kendric), Shannon Smith (Robert Bessett) Jordan Canzanese (Stephen) and Alec Klotz (fiance Perri Hutchison), great-grandchildren, Everett, Weston and Roman and many dear friends and extended family who will cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Klotz, and all her siblings.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to All Seasons Hospice for the wonderful care they provided.

Donations can be made at www.AllSeasonsHealth.com or at All Seasons Health, 801 W. Mineral Ave., Suite 101, Littleton, CO 80120.
