Barbara J. Doty, 75, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 16, 2024 with the love of her life by her side. She was the loving wife of George C. Doty for 55 wonderful years. Born September 12, 1949 in Great Barrington, MA; the daughter of the late Claude and Evelyn Maxwell.
Barbara enjoyed travelling with her husband and camping. They loved Vermont and New Hampshire and journeyed on Rte 2 through the Mountains.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by close cousins, Shirley Martin of Sheffield, MA; Cindy Martin and Donna Martin; sister-in-law, Jill Travis and niece, Dawn Veretto as well as several other nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Forest View Cemetery, Winsted at 11 AM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 970 Main Street, Winsted at 2 PM.
