Mrs. Barbara Jean Stewart, 89, of Cleveland, Ga., died on Sunday, September 8, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held at noon on Saturday, September 14, 2024, in the chapel of W. R. Strickland & Sons, Clermont, Ga. Mr. Joe Duke will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 14, 2024, before the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The interment will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 11:30 a.m., at Greenwood Cemetery, 1173 Cascade Avenue, S.W., Atlanta, Ga. 30311.
Mrs. Stewart is preceded in death by her parents Albert Charles Wofford and Fannie Lou Dye Wofford; her daughter Janet Christine Smith and her brother Richard Charles Wofford.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by her husband Thomas Daniel Stewart; her children Deborah Aiken (Mike), Jeffery A. Frazier, James Stewart, and Jennifer Stewart Hartman (Jason); her grandchildren Richard, Drew, Scott, Jennifer, Stephanie, and Stacey. Avery, Austin, Farrah, Angel, Ezra, and Shelby; 21 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. W. R. Strickland & Sons Clermont, Ga.
