Barry Weichsel Obituary

Barry M. Weichsel, 64, of Southington, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at his home. He was the loving husband of Patricia (Wight) Weichsel for over 27 years.

Barry was born on April 18, 1960 in Ellenville, New York, to the late John Weichsel, former town manager of Southington, and the late Reva Weichsel. He moved to Connecticut when he was 6 years old and graduated from St Margaret's-McTernan in Waterbury. Barry began his career at CL & P as an underground lineman in 1981 and retired from Eversource in 2022. He loved playing golf, tennis and skiing and was a devoted husband, stepfather and Papa.

In addition to his wife Pat, Barry is survived by two stepsons, Buddy Lowe and Jesse Lowe and three grandchildren, Emily Lowe, Jake Lowe and Hannah Lowe, all of Southington. Barry is also survived by his sister, Amy Rosen and her husband Alan of Larchmont, New York and two nephews, Jacob and Joshua Rosen.
