Bernard "Bernie" DeJohn Obituary
Bernard “Bernie” DeJohn, 61, son of the late Achille and Inge DeJohn, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025.
Bernie immediately joined the workforce following his education in various fields. However, his most notable was for Janitronics as a multisite supervisor for 18 years, and most recently, PepsiCo. When he was not working, he could be found in the great outdoors. Bernie had a love for camping and the time he spent fishing, particularly Lake Ontario.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Susan (DeJohn) Ryan.
Bernie is survived by his siblings: Deborah (Doug) Simmons, Bernice (Robert) Dutcher, Peter (Pat) DeJohn, Peggy Bond, Timothy (Veronica Farias) DeJohn and brother in law, James (Cindy) Ryan. As well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of Bernie’s life will be held at a later date at the request of the family.
