Betty Lou Barnhill, age 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2025. She was born in Primm Springs, Tennessee on August 25, 1937, to the late William Thomas and Elsie Claiborne Gordon.
Betty is a graduate of Hillsboro High School Williamson County and Nashville School of Cosmetology. She was a hair stylist in Nashville for fifty-four years. She loved to travel, play bingo, and card games. She also loved to play golf and joined her local LPGA Amateur group.
She is preceded in death by her parents listed above and fifteen brothers and sisters.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Pamela Best and her son-in-law, David Best. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A visitation will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 3:00pm until 7:00pm and on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 10:30am until the hour of service. The funeral service will begin at 11:30am on Thursday, February 13th with burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given to Heart’N Soul hospice of Nashville.
