Betty Beauchemin 96, of Cranston passed away peacefully on October 19, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of the late Armand Beauchemin, with whom she shared 57 wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Fall River she was the beloved daughter of the late Eugene and Mercy Raymond. She is survived by her three children, Stephen and wife Patricia of Narragansett, Robert and his life partner Sandy of Cranston, and daughter Elizabeth and husband Stephen of Fort Myers, Florida. Betty was the proud grandmother to three grandchildren Jason, Rachelle, and Danielle, seven great-grandchildren Stephen, Amelia, David, Troy, Tanner, Iris and Mercy, as well as her one great-great grandson Michael. Betty's family was the center of her world, and she will be forever remembered for her unconditional love and commitment to them.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Matthew's Church 1299 Elmwood Ave Cranston on Thursday October 24th at 10:00am. The family will receive visitors outside the rear of the church beginning at 9:30. Burial will follow, and Betty will be laid to rest alongside her husband at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Betty's memory be made to the American Stroke Association.
