Betty Brown Obituary

Ms. Betty Coffman Brown age 100 years old, of Buford, GA entered into rest on Thursday, October 17, 2024. She was preceded in death by her daughter Judy Louise Brown and son Wayne LeRoy Brown, Sr. Ms. Brown is survived by son, Jimmie Eugene Brown, Sr (Dale) of Crescent City, FL; daughters, Patricia Brown Sullivan of Kennesaw, GA, Mary Jean Willis of Buford, GA, Shirley Brown Goss (Ken) of Cumming, GA, Kathy Brown Widner (Glenn) of Waynesboro, GA; sixteen grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren; sisters, Jean Barnes and Ruth Ann Lucas; and brothers, Bill Coffman and Dick Coffman. Betty received her education at Defiance High School and she was a retired restaurant owner in Washington, GA. She was a WWII factory worker in Washington State, and a member of Waynesboro Garden Club and Eastern Star. Betty was of the Methodist faith, and she was a two-time cancer survivor.
A Memorial service will be held at Canton First Methodist Church, 930 Lower Scott Mill Rd, Canton, GA 30115 on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Spencer Amaral presiding. All are invited to attend the reception in the church fellowship hall following the service.
