Betty Faye Allen Crow, age 78, was born in Grays Creek, North Carolina on November 6, 1946. She passed away peacefully in Raleigh, North Carolina at WakeMed Hospital on February 10, 2025.
Betty was preceded in death by her father, Geraldine Miller Allen and mother, Pearl Elizabeth Ross.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, E.C. Crow III, of Raleigh, son, E. Cheslun Crow IV, of Raleigh, grandson, Ekron Cheslun Crow V 'Quinn', of Raleigh and brother, Jerry Ray Allen, of Atlanta.
Betty was very artistic, crafty and loved to garden. She enjoyed doing things for others and was full of joy when being around her family. She loved her Scottish roots and heritage.
She attended Underwood Elementary and Daniels Middle School. She graduated from Broughton High School.
Betty was retired from the North Carolina Revenue Department after 50 years.
She was a devout member of Hayes Barton Baptist Church for many years.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the medical staff at WakeMed Hospital and Koinonia Sunday school class at Hayes Barton Baptist Church.
Betty will be laid to rest in the cemetery of Historic Oakwood on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
A Memorial Service to honor her life will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary of Hayes Barton Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina.
